About Me
Space and place (and all the magic they encompass) have always tugged at my heartstrings and curiosity. I’ve taken a winding path across sectors and Canada to finally find my footing in the beautiful world of GIS and remote sensing. Along the way, I’ve studied international agriculture and food systems, human geography, and social justice; I have worked alongside subsistence farmers in Honduras and Tanzania, and with students, academics, and industry clients across Canada. My interdisciplinary background informs and enriches my geospatial analytical work and my drive to use GIS in all its forms for positive environmental and social change. I am particularly excited about GIS applications for natural resource management, conservation, and decolonization. Outside of work, I can be found hiking, rock climbing, or petting dogs (and, if I’m lucky, some combination of all of the above!).
